My brother lost his credit card a few months ago. He was not able to remember all the places where he used his card until he tried contacting a restaurant that we went the day before he lost his credit card and got lucky as they confirmed that they had his card secured. When we went to the restaurant to get his card back, I was surprised to see 100 other lost credit cards just lying there. There was no way/platform to contact the owners. I decided to solve this problem by making this app called QRconnect which provides a platform to users for returning lost items. It provides a service to people, who found lost items, to communicate with the owner of that item through QR-technology
The app generated a unique QR-code for you once you sign up as a user in the app. You can then stick this QR-code to your belongings so that if someone finds your lost item he/she can just scan you QR-code and contact you conveniently from within the app. The user can download his/her QR-code within the app or order free QR stickers from the company.
